Code Quest: Your First Step into Tech!
Welcome to Code Quest, Champlain College’s beginner-friendly hackathon designed to empower new coders! Whether you're just starting your programming journey or looking to gain hands-on experience, this event is your chance to learn, build, and collaborate in a supportive environment.
This year, our hackathon features an open-ended format, allowing you to explore any idea you’re passionate about. Plus, our partner Tail’ed has crafted an exciting challenge:
“Hackez votre parcours”
The world of education is filled with outdated tools—clunky course registrations, archaic grade management, and limited access to resources. But as tech students, you have the power to change that!
Your challenge? Reinvent the tools that shape your academic journey. Build solutions to improve learning, streamline student services, or enhance academic life. Every idea matters!
- No experience? No problem!
Throughout the day, you'll have access to mentors, workshops, and IT support to guide you from start to finish. We'll also introduce GitHub Copilot, a tool that makes coding easier and more magical than ever!
